BLUES
nigella damascena 'miss jekyll'

Blue at its most true is rarely found in nature.

Baby pharoahs were swaddled in blue to indicate their celestial nature, and for the Chinese, blue was the color of the transcendental path to immortality. Blue dyes have long been sought for religious purposes. Blue is literally a cool color as it absorbs little light or heat. It represents the coolness of withdrawal both visually and emotionally.
